What age groups may participate?

We work with athletes ages 13-18.

What events does SDTC offer in the program?

Distance, Sprints, Jumps, Throws, Relays, Pentathletes, and Heptathletes.

How many days a week does the team practice?

Three days a week Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

What is the last day to register for the club membership?

June 2nd will be the last day to signup for the 6-week program.

June 16th will the last day to signup for the 4-week program.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we offer payment plans. Please contact the coach for more details dshstrack@gmail.com.

Do you offer weightlifting services?

Yes, athletes will lift weights once/twice a week depending on the running schedule.

Do I have to sign-up for the AAU/USATF?

No, the member does not have to sign-up for the USATF/AAU, but they will not be able to compete in Sanctioned meets, nor have access to the extra benefits (insurance, meets, discounts).

What days are the track meets?

The track meets will mostly be on Saturdays and Sundays.

Do I have to pay for a team uniform? Is it required?

Yes, It is preferred that the team uniform is purchased. You can purchase one at our team store (just the top is required for competition). Please click here. All orders must be completed before June 12!! There will be extra uniforms if the deadline is not meet, but we only have limited sizes.

Do I need to purchase track and field spikes?

Yes, it is required that all athletes have spikes. We do some have spikes, but only in limited sizes.

Can I join if you just want to get faster for another sport?

Yes, athletes do not have to compete in sanctioned events. It’s totally fine to come out to improve for another sport.

Do you offer Pole Vault?

Yes.

Will transportation be provided to events?

No, athletes will be expected to provide their own transportation to events. There will be carpools options for parents who are unable to provide transportation.
