Indoor 2023 Winter Indoor Recap/Award Winners

It was an impressive indoor season for our South Denver REAL athletes. Every athlete who participated in the winter season walked away with a personal record in one or more events.

Ryan Olree was our boys MVP and had a historical season, breaking the state record in the 3200m and the 2-mile. He also took first place in Colorado in the indoor 1-mile. Ryan will attend the University of Georgia on a cross-country and track scholarship.

Mckenzie Droughns, our girls MVP, had a fantastic season as well. She had top times in the 60m and 200m; she placed 2nd overall in the 200m in the USATF Indoor Championships, and she placed 2nd in the 60m in the Let’s Get REAL Championship.
